Healing starts with care — and the right tools
Ms. Carol Sarwansingh-Jadoonanan, CEO at Bismarck Technology & Learning Institution Ltd recently donated 2,000+ sterile syringes to the founder of Mel’s Fur Angels, Melissa Bekharry, supporting the tireless work they do in shelters to help animals in need. These syringes will be used at shelters that house and foster unwanted, sick or injured animals.
Mel’s Fur Angels is a group dedicated to helping strays, unwanted and abused animals throughout Trinidad and Tobago. This group is run mainly by volunteers who assist with fostering which includes interactions with other animals and humans, rehabilitating animals with behavioral issues and providing after care post surgical procedures — until a suitable and permanent home can be found.
